echo Art Fair is open to local, regional and international fine artists who work in disciplines including painting, photography, sculpture, print, works on paper, video and mixed media. 

For consideration, please e-mail submissions to echoartfair@gmail.com. Submission fee is $35 for individual artists and $50 for galleries. Submission deadline is midnight EST, March 16, 2012.

716knit is an independent yarn painter/dyer who has a gorgeous assortment of products for your next arts and crafts project. She uses a nearby farm to stock her wool, and hand-crafts each skein personally. Also, you’ll notice that each yarn has the name of a quote from cult-favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

This week, 716knit is debuting (along with Buffalo-based colleague KnitCore Buffalo) at the Lancaster Farmer’s Market. The Farmer’s Market runs Saturday August 27 from 7am-1pm, and is located on Broadway and Aurora (10 Aurora is a great GPS marker).
